研究テーマ
In my research, I aim to utilize corpora to identify the most important vocabulary and multi-word expressions for learners in various contexts and at different proficiency levels. To achieve this, I have developed a set of word lists for international school students by analyzing a large corpus of textbooks. Additionally, I am in the process of creating a multimodal longitudinal learner corpus to detect differences in the use of vocabulary and multi-word expressions among learners at different proficiency levels. This research seeks to provide valuable insights into language learning and contribute to the development of effective language teaching materials.

プロフィール
I enjoy traveling and seeing the world. Originally from the UK, I moved to Canada at the age of 9 and have been on the move ever since. My love for travel and discovery began when I first visited Japan as a high school student and was captivated by its unique charm. Since then, I have lived in several countries including Ecuador, Colombia, and Indonesia. I have always enjoyed visiting new places and trying new things. However, there are still many more places that I want to visit and things that I would like to do.
